Chapman University, 2015. Mitchell and Natalie are incoming freshmen looking to begin careers in screenwriting. Grouped together with other students in their major, they quickly became a part of a group of like-minded screenwriting majors who loved to watch movies (even bad ones), play board games, and do group reenactments of the worst scripts they had read.

It was no surprise that Mitchell and Natalie became fast friends.

In Sophomore year, something changed. Was it the increased course load, new living situations, or the start of internships? Nope!

After a fateful stomach bug, urgent care trip, and hours-long, amazing first date at an urgent care-adjacent Jamba Juice, Mitchell and Natalie made their relationship official in September 2016.

After dating throughout college, Mitchell and Natalie graduated and moved to Los Angeles to start their careers in the film business. Natalie began working in entertainment marketing and Mitchell joined a film finance company while continuing to screen-write on the side. They were on very different paths than either would've expected just a few short years ago. But one thing remained constant: their love.

After surviving the pandemic together, Mitchell proposed to Natalie in December 2023. They've been frantically preparing for the wedding ever since!
